Meditation for Experiencing Equanimity
This equanimity meditation will help you to experience balance and peace.. Equanimity is mental calmness, composure, and evenness of temper, especially in a difficult situation. It’s a very mindful presence in which you are nonreactive. It arises from deep within, from that place of wisdom that recognizes that all things, conditions and situations are manifesting in their own perfection. This meditation will teach you that, in any moment, you can stop, you can breathe, and you can come back to the present moment, enabling you to enter the next moment with more presence, balance, and clarity – centered in your heart.
This is the gift of equanimity: we find that refuge of deep, inner balance that connects us with an inclusive, open heartspace, full of wisdom and compassion – a heart that is ready for anything!
