There is so much said and written about the importance of loving ourselves, yet it is easy to become entangled in confusion. What does it truly mean to love oneself? How can we authentically embody this love? Often, despite our affirmations of "I love myself," a discordant inner voice echoes doubts and denials, undermining our efforts. We may even harbor misconceptions that self-love is synonymous with egocentricity or associate it with outdated stereotypes, such as the “tree hugging hippies and the flower power movement”. 

Yet, psychologists affirm that self-love and compassion are not only integral but indispensable for mental health and overall well-being. As we engage in this Self Love Meditation, we are reminded of the profound wisdom encapsulated in Robert Morley's words:
